Bedlam is something old and something new: a medieval fantasy MUD (Multi-User Dungeon) crafted over many years, supercharged with cutting-edge mobile clients for iPhone and the web.

Unique and randomized loot, 12 vastly different classes, 2,000+ NPC's, 100+ areas, a flexible quest system, and a super-friendly community of casual players are only some of the features that make Bedlam a long-lasting delight.

There are many ways to play for free. If you have played a MUD before, point a desktop client like MUSHClient or Mudlet (download a custom GUI and World Map Package) at bedlam.gotdns.com:9000 (port 23 also supported). If you're new to MUDs and you're at your desktop computer, the place to start is the web app (Flash required, Firefox recommended).

If you own an iPhone / iPod / iPad, you simply must experience the game using the free version of the incredible GUI app shown below.
